My love of Collies started when I was a child. I always had a sable rough as a companion; a best friend who was there through the ups and downs of childhood. When I had the thought, "Hey showing dogs looks like fun", I knew what breed I would get . . . a Collie.

I bought my first show dog in early 1996. She was an adorable 12 week old blue rough bitch that I named Cynder. Despite my handling errors she became Champion Marko's Outta The Blue when I finished her with back-to-back majors in February 1999.

I attended my first Collie Club of America national specialty in 2000 and was overwhelmed with the number of beautiful dogs exhibited. At this National I became smitten with one in particular, a smooth named CH. Keepsake Telesis, who sired the first Cyndella litter (December 2000). This litter marked the beginning of an appreciation, and love, for the smooth variety.

In-breeding on one of the greatest smooth dogs of that time, 2X Collie Club of America Best of Variety Winner Ch. Keepsake Telesis ROM, produced our first National winner CH. Cyndella's It's My Party, Kylee.

At the 2003 Collie Club of America, Kylee won the Bred-By class and went on to win Best Opposite Sex to Best Bred-By. It's My Party is the dam to 6 champions; most notable being CH. Cyndella's Triple Shot, who is the sire of 15 champions.

I then blended in the respected family of Lisara, which produced specialty winning and National placing dogs like BISS CH. Cyndella's Yes, I'm Charmed, CH. Cyndella's Miss July and GCH Cyndella's Promiscuous Girl.

I am now incorporating the families of Tallywood and Southland.
My future looks bright . . .
